I’ve been working on an Order of Service design and print run for my friend’s dad who sadly passed away last month.
It features a hand painted miniature military badge printed on the cover along with name in calligraphy and bespoke laurel leaf corner embellishments to reflect the theme of the badge throughout the design.
A courageous young woman at a moment of reflection and contemplation, wearing a pink ribbon, sitting under the peace and calm of a cherry blossom tree. Hand embellished gold border with cherry blossom detail.
I spent some of yesterday visiting Coopers Crafty Corner in Pelsall to stock my art shelf with a batch of giclee pet prints and notebooks.
My breast cancer awareness picture ‘Contemplation‘ will also be available from Oct 14th for their Breast Cancer Awareness campaign with donations from the sales going to Walsall Breast Cancer Support Group.
Decided to branch out offline and try selling from a craft shop. I’m renting shelf space for a year at Coopers Crafty Corner, a lovely friendly little craft shop in Pelsall Village. I only have a few prints on display at the moment but offering portrait commission’s.
After a bit of research at the weekend I sourced another Fine Art Trade Guild Giclée printers for some new prints.
Received my first batch today …I’m so pleased with the print quality, they have exceeded my expectations. They have a really nice range of papers, loving the sample pack and can’t wait to get some more ordered.
Note: I’m also reminded how much I hate cutting mount boards.
